Foxfire Golf and Country Club is a private, Audubon gated community built upon 385 acres of land and has been designated a “Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary” by the Audubon Society. It provides a 27-hole, champion style golf course. The famed architect Arthur Hills designed the course with several water hazards, snug fairways, and beautiful greens that challenges golfers of all skills levels. Golf course administrators are always available to serve the golfing needs of members including pro equipment, tee off times, and coaching from professional instructors.
The Foxfire Golf and Country Club community consists of a mixture of quaint villas, modern condominiums, and beautiful single family homes. Each purchase includes a golfing membership and complete access to its 20,000 square foot clubhouse which was refurbished in 2005. The renovators captured the country club ambiance by using charming Mediterranean style architecture. The clubhouse has an elegant restaurant for formal dining and a grille room with a lounge for a more relaxed meal.
Banquet rooms are available for special events as well. Members can take advantage of the Olympic sized, heated swimming pool, a cutting-edge fitness facility, three well-lit Har-Tru clay tennis courts, and a well-stocked pro shop. Golf enthusiasts can brush up on their skills utilizing the putting greens and driving range adjacent the clubhouse or join a Golf league.
